Is SomosPoints a competition between us?
No. XP belongs to the couple and the app never shows who is winning. Individual points are secondary and are used only for vouchers.
Can I lose points?
No. Nothing takes away points already earned, and solo time never costs points.
Who confirms gestures?
The person who receives the gesture. Points count only after the partner confirms, within 72 hours. After that the entry expires, with no penalty, and you can log it again.
What about household chores?
We don't score chores, arguments or feelings, so the game never becomes nagging.
Can we pause?
Yes. Either of you can pause anytime, no reason needed. While paused, nothing is scored or lost.
Who sees our data?
Only the two of you. No couple data is shared with third parties without both partners' consent.
Does it work for every kind of couple?
Yes. The rules are the same for both partners in any couple configuration.
How much does it cost?
The pilot has no payments, purchases or subscriptions.
When will there be an app-store app?
The pilot is a web app you can install on your phone. Store versions will only be considered after the pilot is evaluated.
